Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said Georgia was “very vulnerable” in the face of the Russian aggression, expressing her hope that the world would pay attention to the country.
Zourabichvili told CNN on Wednesday that Georgia was the first country to become a target of the Russian occupation in 2008, adding she was not sure if Russia would attack Georgia again after Ukraine.
Whether Georgia will be the next, that's a very difficult question. I hope not. We have been the first ones, so I hope that it’s not going to be repeated, but nobody can be sure of anything,” she said.

The Georgian president praised the Ukrainian people for unity during the war, saying it was an “important signal for Russia.”
Russia has been seeing the unity of the Ukrainians, and it has also seen that it cannot divide Ukraine neither between east or west, nor between pro-Russians and anti-Russians, and that is a very important signal,” she added.
Zourabichvili also recalled her efforts to discuss the developments in Georgia with the world leaders, saying it had been the reason for her last visit to Brussels.
