Coordination Council calls on mountain resort vacationers to follow COVID-19 regulations

The Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council has called on those vacationing at mountain resorts to follow COVID-19 regulations as far as possible, in that a somewhat high rate of infections has been recorded there recently.

It is important for those who visit mountain resorts to follow the rules and regulations that exist in the country. Wearing face masks is of great importance,” Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council Giorgi Gibradze said.

Georgia has reported 5,486 new cases of coronavirus, 2,893 recoveries and 46 deaths in the past 24 hours. The weekly positive rate for tested individuals stands at 9.63%.

A total of 4,431 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,801 individuals are at quarantine hotels, while 69 are under quarantine.
