This is what is happening today in the world, when you turn ideas into reality and into one of the instruments of the development of the country, [...] We have a big amount of human power, human brain and the wish to export Georgia”, the president noted.

In her address, Georgia’s ambassador to the UK, Sophie Katsarava, highlighted the importance of providing “such high-level” support to the startup companies by the Georgian president and government.

Attracting investments is one of our tasks and priorities and I think that such events contribute to greater awareness of investors and also to the establishment of Georgian companies in the British market", Katsarava said.

An exhibition was held within the framework of the conference, where ten Georgian startups presented their company to British investors, diaspora and businessmen, as well as trade associations and members of entrepreneurship centres, to attract investments.

The event aimed at supporting Georgian companies and bridging them with the UK’s startups to further exchange experience, share networks, and attract investors in the innovation and technological industry.
