Dor Kedmi, an established Israeli photographer visited Georgia to prepare a photo collage for the popular Israeli Haaretz newspaper, the Georgian national tourism administration said on Saturday.
The administration, which has been hosting bloggers and travel advice reporters from different regions to raise international awareness about Georgia, noted that as part of the press tour the photographer had visited tourist destinations in the country’s capital Tbilisi, eastern Kakheti region’s city of Telavi and town of Sighnaghi, as well as David Gareji and Udabno monastery complexes.
Kedmi’s photo collage on Georgia will be used for articles in the Haaretz newspaper illustrating the tourist potential of the country. The GNTA said the tour aimed to promote Georgian tourism products in Israel and increase the flow of travellers from the country.
