Georgia-Japan 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations celebrated at Georgian National Opera Theatre

Georgian culture minister Tea Tsulukiani and Akira Imamura, the ambassador of Japan to Georgia attended the closing event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Japan on Saturday at the Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Tbilisi.

The anniversary event opened with the performance of Leo Classics Ensemble, who performed with traditional Japanese percussion instruments, the culture ministry said.

The ballet company of the Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, together with the Leo Classics Ensemble presented Alexei Ratmansky’s one-act ballet Dreams about Japan in the second part of the event.
