Int'l consulting company to help prepare long-term masterplan for Batumi airport

ADP Ingénierie, an international consulting and engineering firm, has been commissioned to prepare long-term master plans for Tbilisi and Batumi international airports in Georgia’s capital and Black Sea city respectively.

TAV Georgia, the operator of the two facilities, announced on Thursday the firm’s representatives were in Batumi and being introduced to the infrastructure of the city’s  airport. Work has also started for a similar master plan for the airport in the capital city.

TAV Georgia also said the plan for the latter facility would be ready by end of the year, while Batumi airport will have the document prepared for January next year.
