Nikoloz Sharadze, the head of the Georgian border police and Vazha Siradze, the director of the patrol police department, on Monday attended the 25th International Border Police Conference organised by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Frontex in Warsaw.
The conference was dedicated to the subject of responding to emergency situations created at borders, the ministry said.

The heads of the two law enforcement bodies also held a meeting with the head of the general inspectorate of the border police of Moldova and discussed deepening cooperation between the border agencies of the two countries.
The members of the Georgian delegation also met with the head of Frontex operational response department and discussed the prospects of further developing the cooperation.
