The Georgian chamber of commerce won the nomination for the Best Chamber of Commerce of the Year at Go Global Award, a competition hosted in Tallinn, Estonia on Sunday.
The body said on Monday it had collected the award from nominations involving 179 counterparts from across the world.
Go Global Awards are promoted to be recognising companies and organisations involved in “innovation, technology and strategic solutions”. Organisers said this year's awards were dedicated to the bodies displaying innovations and resilience “despite the challenging times”.
The awards brought together hundreds of senior executives representing manufacturers, processors and exporters from across the world together with representatives from government bodies, trade associations, venture capital firms and financial institutions.
