Georgian midfielder Luka Parkadze has been selected among the “60 of the best young talents in world football” by the British newspaper The Guardian.
The selection features 60 players born in 2005 that are expected to make an impact with their skills. The newspaper quoted Jochen Sauer, the director at campus of the German club FC Bayern, which signed the young player for the next season, on his impressions of the midfielder.
Our scouts have kept an eye on him for some time and Luka left a brilliant impression when he had a trial here. This is why we are very happy to have signed him so he can embark on a common path from next season”, Sauer said.
Bayern signed the teenage player from Dinamo Tbilisi in August, with the 17-year-old set to complete the move next summer after signing a long-term contract with the German national league champions. Parkadze will continue to play for the Georgian club until his move.
