Israeli, Georgian justice ministers signs declaration on digitalisation of public services

Israeli and Georgian justice ministers Gideon Sa'ar and Rati Bregadze on Wednesday signed a joint declaration for establishing cooperation on digitalisation of public services of the two countries.   

Signed in Tbilisi, the declaration provides for cooperation in access to public services, business and land registration, notary services, electronic apostille and others, the Israeli embassy said.

As part of his visit to Georgia, Sa'ar also had a “productive” meeting with parliament chair Shalva Papuashvili and Givi Mikanadze, the head of the Israel-Georgia parliamentary friendship group.

The meeting saw the parties emphasise the “centuries-old friendly relations” between the two states and identify prospects of deepening their bilateral cooperation.

The Israeli minister also held a meeting with economy minister Levan Davitashvili and discussed a range of opportunities to further expand ties “in various directions”.
