The Georgian National Tourism Administration is hosting journalists from highly rated publications and television stations of Israel, as well as popular bloggers from the country, in a programme that will see them promote Georgia as a tourist destination to their audiences, the state body announced on Thursday.
A total of 10 media representatives and bloggers from Israel are exploring Georgia’s tourism potential after which they will prepare promotional stories about the country’s tourist destination, culture, wine and cuisine.
Georgia's capital of Tbilisi and several eastern cities including Mtskheta, Ananuri, Stepantsminda and Mukhran are among the places journalists and bloggers are set to visit.
The GNTA noted the press tour was organised by the Administration itself with the involvement of the Embassy of Georgia in Israel, saying it aimed at raising awareness about Georgia in Israel and attracting tourist flows.
