Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and members of the Government's Economic Council met on Saturday to review current economic trends in the country.
The Council highlighted the importance of exploring new resort areas and developing the existing ones, as it would have “special meaning” in increasing the rate of international visitors to the country, which would itself contribute to the economic progress and stimulation.
At the meeting special attention was paid to balneological resorts and private investments and it was noted that important steps would be taken by the Georgian Government in this direction “in the near future, the Government Administration said.
