The body of Georgian volunteer Giorgi Grigolia, killed in the armed action in Ukraine, was repatriated to Georgia on Friday morning.
Family members and a group of citizens gathered at the Tbilisi International Airport to pay homage to Grigolia.
The volunteer was killed near the Donetsk region city of Bakhmut several days ago. He had been involved in the war from the beginning of the Russian invasion.
Grigolia has left behind a Ukrainian wife and a child.
In total, 13 Georgian volunteers have died in the war since the start of the invasion.
