Chinese Premier hails “firm and stable” relations with Georgia on anniversary of ties

Li Keqiang, the Premier of the State Council of China, on Monday marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Georgia in a message to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the citizens of the country.

Keqiang noted that Sino-Georgian relations had developed in a “firm and stable” manner for 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

During the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Sino-Georgian relations have been developing in a firm and stable manner, political trust between the parties is growing, pragmatic cooperation in various fields is progressing, and relations and cultural exchanges between citizens are becoming stronger,” the letter of the Chinese official said.

The Premier of the Chinese State Council also expressed his willingness to further “deepen” mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as to expand the “connotation” of Sino-Georgian relations and friendship for the benefit of “our countries and nations.”
