Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday extended her condolences to the families of the victims of the mass shooting at a Texas school by saying “words are difficult to find with such violence.”
“A terrible tragedy in Texas. Senseless, brutal murder of young children. Words are difficult to find with such violence. My condolences to the families of the victims, to the Uvalde community and to the American people,” Zourabichvili tweeted.

In its turn, the Georgian foreign office condemned the “horrible” shooting at the school.
“We are deeply saddened and utterly condemn horrible shooting in elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Our sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the tragedy. May they have the strength to go through this ordeal,” the Ministry said in a tweet.

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili also responded to the “senseless massacre of innocent pupils,” and extended his condolences to the families of the victims and the American people “in this time of mourning.”

An 18-year-old gunman on Tuesday fatally shot 19 children and two adults at an Uvalde elementary school in Texas before being killed by law enforcement officers.
