Georgia to host 2023 Forum of European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education

The Georgian National Center For Educational Quality Enhancement will host the annual International Forum of the members of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in 2023, the Ministry of Education has announced.

The Forum will bring together heads of 55 quality assurance agencies from 32 European countries, the Association staff, and representatives from the European University Association, European Students Association, and the Bologna Process Working Group.

The decision to hold the International Forum in Georgia is another confirmation that the recent changes made by the National Center For Educational Quality Enhancement in the field of quality assurance in higher education are in full compliance with common European standards and approaches," the Ministry said in its release.

An ENQA expert group has been monitoring the implementation of recommendations issued by the international Association in 2021 in Georgia by the National Center.

In 2019, the Center became a full member of the ENQA for a period of five years.
