Georgian PM, Armenian Justice Minister discuss cooperation

Cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in the field of justice was discussed by Irakli Garibashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia, and Karen Andreasyan, the Minister of Justice of Armenia on Monday.

The two officials underlined the importance of the memorandum signed between the Justice Ministries of the two states in January  and aimed  to strengthen cooperation in the field of justice, human rights and public service delivery, the Government Administration said.

The sides also highlighted the ongoing war in Ukraine,  as well as the importance of supporting the peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, expressing readiness to work together to overcome the existing challenges.

Garibashvili and Andreasyan also discussed the Peaceful Neighborhood Initiative of the South Caucasus, recently initiated by the Georgian Prime Minister.
