Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili marked 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Netherlands on Friday by saying the two countries were bound with “strong ties of friendship.”
Darchiashvili noted he was looking forward to working with his Dutch counterpart Wopke Hoekstra.

Georgia established diplomatic ties with the Netherlands on April 22, 1992. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Georgia was opened in 2001.
