Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili held a meeting with various government representatives on Thursday to coordinate the process of completing Georgia’s European Union membership questionnaire.
Darchiashvili said the government organisations were eager to fill out the questionnaire “effectively and in a short time.”
Today’s meeting assured me that the process is going successfully! We will fill out the questionnaire in a timely manner and submit the document for evaluation. Thanks to all agencies and public employees for maximum involvement,” Darchiashvili wrote.
Georgia received the EU membership questionnaire on April 11. The Georgian Government published the questionnaire, containing 369 questions, on April 15, following a decision by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to make the document public.
