Georgian police officers have arrested an individual wanted for the theft of items from a car of a Ukrainian citizen in Tbilisi, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Wednesday.
The Ministry said the arrested person had stolen “various items” from the car parked on Vasadze Street in the Gldani district of Tbilisi on March 31 and fled from the scene.
The offender, identified only through their initials, had been previously convicted of theft.
The crime is punishable by four to seven years in prison.
