Construction and infrastructure projects, export potential, tourism, industrial and food supplies were the topics of discussion during a meeting of the Georgian Government’s Economic Council, led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, on Thursday.
At the meeting, the Council pointed out the specific steps to accelerate the economic growth in the country, including the long term procurements.
Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili noted the increasing dynamic in the tourism sector, with a 70 percent restoration since 2019.
The Council also discussed logistic issues, including transportation and freight flows, that require “even more coordination.”
