The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has exceeded its plan approved by the state budget for the first quarter of 2022 by nine percent, the state body revealed on Wednesday.
The amount invested by the Ministry in infrastructure projects amounted to 406.2 million GEL ($131.8mln/€120.6mln) in first three months of this year, surpassing the approved plan by 33.3 million GEL ($10.8mln/€9.8mln) and the figure of the previous year by 41.9 million GEL ($13.6mln/€12.4mln).
The 2022 budget of the Infrastructure Ministry is at a record high and totals more than 2.895 million GEL ($939mln/€860).
