Georgian officials have send their kind wishes to everyone celebrating Easter today.
Joining the celebrations, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zurabishvili wished the public ‘health, wellbeing and peace on this blessed day.’

Leading an Easter vigil service last night Pope Francis said he hoped the dark times of the pandemic would end and that people could rediscover 'the grace of everyday life'.
For the second consecutive year Easter services are being attended by very few people in a secondary altar of St. Peter's Basilica amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Majority of Georgian citizens who are Orthodox Christians will celebrate Easter on May 2.
