Georgia reports 248 new cases of Covid-19, 525 recoveries, 11 deaths

Georgia has reported 248 new cases of coronavirus, 525 recoveries and 11 deaths over the last 24 hours.

A total of 27,885 tests have been conducted, including 9,071 PCR tests and 18,814 rapid tests.

Out of the new 248 cases 129 were reported in Tbilisi, 31 - in Imereti, 17 - in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 16 - in Adjara and Kakheti each, 14 - in Shida Kartli, 8 - in Kvemo Kartli, 7 - in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 6 - in Guria, 3 - in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, 1 - in Samtskhe-Javakheti.

As of now Georgia has confirmed a total of 270,758 cases of Covid-19 since last February, including 265,114 recoveries and 3,510 deaths.

Meanwhile, 2,108 individuals are currently infected with the coronavirus,1,472 of which are in hospitals
