Covid-19 in Georgia: 373 new cases of 34,933 tests, 542 recoveries

Georgia has reported 373 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 34,933 tests over the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 542 individuals have recovered and 14 patients have died.
Out of the 373 new cases 177 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

- Guria - 19
- Kakheti - 16
- Mtskheta-tianeti - 8
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 8

- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4
As of now Georgia has reported a total of 270,510 cases of coronavirus, including 264,589 recoveries and 3.499 deaths, while the number of active cases stands at 2,396.

While discussing the Covid-19 vaccination process with Director-General of the WHO Tedros Adanom Gebreisus, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has stated the government is doing its best for Georgia to receive first doses of vaccine as soon as possible.
Estimated real gross domestic product (GDP) declined by 11.5% in January 2021 year-on-year. Last month the following industries of the economy posted negative growth compared to the same period of the previous year:Construction, Transportation and storage, Manufacturing, Accommodation and food service activities, Arts, entertainment and recreation. Real estate activities and others.
Georgia has reported 337 new cases of coronavirus, 320 recoveries and 10 deaths.25,436 tests have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 17,311 of the 25,436 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 8,125 were PCR tests. The country has had 270,137 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 264,047 of the 270, 137 have recovered, while 3,485 have died of the virus.
After a three-month pause, regular passenger train services will resume starting February 27 in Georgia, reports Georgian Railway.
