Georgian police have detained an individual for attempted premeditated murder and illegale possession of firearms in the western Georgian region of Samegrelo.
The Interior Ministry has released a video footage of the detention:
The individual, identified as B.G. and born in 1972, was wanted since April, 2019. Zugdidi-based court then sentenced B.G. to seven years in prison in absentia.
Police have detained a Georgian citizen for violence against his wife in the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara today. The individual, identified only as G.Kh. and born in 1982, verbally insulted and physically attacked her wife in the small town of Chakvi in Kobuleti Municipality.
