Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says that the country observes International Anti-Corruption Day today ‘with impressive achievements.’
He stated that Georgia’s effective anti-corruption policy is confirmed by various international rankings.
For instance, TRACE International Bribery Risk Matrix has ranked Georgia among the top 20 countries in Europe and 30 across the globe with the lowest corruption, while the country is leading the survey in the component evaluating governmental bribery risk. Georgia has ranked ahead of 13 EU member states. The country is a regional leader with the lowest corruption,” Garibashvili stated.

He stated that the result was made possible ‘thanks to the government’s anti-corruption legislation, engagement of civil society, and government reforms ensuring openness.
