Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has received an invitation to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos from its founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.
The event will take place on January 17-21, 2022 in the highest town in Europe – Davos, Switzerland.
In the invitation letter, Schwab underscores the significance of the forum and says that ‘it is essential for the world’s foremost political, business and civil society leaders to come together to restore trust in the ability to shape the future in collaborative ways.’
The participants would greatly appreciate hearing about your vision for how to ensure a sustainable and equitable economic recovery in Georgia,” the letter to Garibashvili reads.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili was also invited to join the forum on October 16 when she was visiting Switzerland.
The World Economic Forum, which aims ‘to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest while upholding the highest standards of governance’, was founded in 1971.
