Two individuals sentenced to 3 and 7 years in prison for road accident which killed 17 in 2020

Mtskheta District Court has sentenced two individuals to three and seven years in prison for a deadly road accident which killed 17 individuals in the Dusheti municipality of Khevsureti region in 2020.

Founder of the company Cheap Travel Georgia Shalva Bolotashvili has been found guilty of negligence/inappropriate fulfilment of official duties.

The crime is punishable by three years in prison.

The owner of the minibus has been sentenced to seven years in prison for the use of a vehicle with technical problems which caused the death of people.
