Coronavirus: Georgia reports 4,610 new cases, 2,624 recoveries, 42 deaths

Georgia has reported 4,610 new cases of coronavirus, 2,624 recoveries and 42 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

55,815 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 31,603 of them tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 24,212 were PCR tests. 

49,445 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.

The country has had 714,577 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

8.96% of tested individuals had COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

655,129 of the 714,577 patients have recovered, while 10,003 have died from the virus.

The 4,610 new cases were recorded in: 

Tbilisi - 1,663 cases 

Adjara - 154 cases 

Imereti - 871 cases

Kvemo Kartli - 324 cases 

Shida Kartli - 324 cases 

Guria - 118 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 316 cases 

Kakheti - 577 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 83 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 133 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 47 cases

6,377 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,593 patients are in the intensive care unit. 332 patients are on artificial ventilation. 

41,982 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.

46 individuals are in quarantine. 

10,362,860 tests have been conducted in the country so far.

1,974,521 individuals have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the country so far, while 938,134 have been completely vaccinated.
