De facto Tskhinvali gov’t introduces coronavirus restrictions until December 1

The de facto government of Georgia’s Russia-occupied Tskhinvali region has imposed restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the region.

Educational institutions, gyms, and children’s entertainment venues will be closed until November 1, while weddings, funerals and other social events have been prohibited until December 1.

No more than 50 people will be allowed in food facilities.

Individuals having had contact with COVID-infected patients will have to spend 14 days in self-isolation.
