Georgia has reported a total of 4,581 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting 21,271 PCR tests and 24,852 rapid tests over the last 24 hours.
Out of the 4,581 new cases 1,525 were reported in Tbilisi.

Meanwhile, 2,494 people have recovered and 28 patients have died.
Head of Georgia's National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze has told Rustavi 2 media company that the epidemiological situation is expected to worsen in Georgia. He says the only solution to the problem is to get vaccinated and to adhere to the safety regulations.
Everyone should be wearing face masks indoors and outdoors. Let’s maintain [social] distance and avoid any large gatherings”, Gamkrelidze said.
Let’s go and get vaccinated for each other, otherwise the November is going to be very difficult”, he added.
As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 662,334 cases of the coronavirus, including 612,481 recoveries, 9,468 deaths and 40,359 active cases.
