Coronavirus: Georgia reports 990 new cases, 3,265 recoveries, 23 deaths

Georgia has reported 990 new cases of coronavirus, 3,265 recoveries and 23 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

8,016 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country. 3,800 of the 8,106 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,216 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 228,410 cases of coronavirus since February.

214,992 of the 228,410 individuals have recovered, while 2,528 others have died. 

10,864 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 

The new 990 cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi – 426 cases 
  • Adjara - 72 cases 
  • Imereti - 167 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 65 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 83 cases 
  • Guria - 15 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 68 cases 
  • Kakheti - 54 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 29 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 8 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 3 cases  

4,664 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 921 patients are in critical condition. 322 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

858 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 415 individuals are in quarantine and 5,342 are at home.

30,732 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 1,898a,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.
