Nigerian businessman running for Tbilisi mayor: Kaladze has done his best, now It’s my turn

Nigerian businessman Arinze Richard Ogbunuju, who has been nominated for Tbilisi mayor in the October 2 municipal elections by Our United Georgia initiative group, says that incumbent Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, who has been renominated for the post by the ruling Georgian Dream party, ‘has already done his utmost.’

Kaladze is a good person. He has done his best as Tbilisi mayor. I can do better for Tbilisi residents. I know that major problems here are nihilism and unemployment and I know how to make changes in this regard,” Ogbunuju said. 

He stated that he has been living in Georgia for  more than 20 years, has a Georgian wife and is well-aware of the country’s problems and needs.
