Silk Way West Airlines, an Azerbaijani cargo airline, will launch cargo flights from the US city of Chicago to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi and Azerbaijani capital of Baku today, announces Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava.
She said that this is a positive fact for the Georgian economy.
First, it is important that cargo flights from the US will be carried out in Georgia. Second, freight and cargo transportation is on the rise and in 2020-2021 we have very good dynamics", Turnava said.
