A 20-year-old man has been arrested for disposing of hundreds of plastic bottles in the Ktsia River in the Kvemo Kartli region.
Footage of the man’s act was spread on social media earlier today.
Law enforcers were soon able to identify the offender and arrested him in Bolnisi,” says the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Journalists who arrived at the spot found the river cleaned but dozens of bottles remained on the embankment.

The crime is punishable by up to one year of imprisonment.
