Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has visited Monaco, where she promoted Georgian wine at a special event entitled 'Meeting with Vine Roots' which was attended by His Serene Highness the Prince of Monaco Albert II and locals as well as Georgian winemakers.
Today, I am in Monaco to open new horizons for the Georgian wine industry, but also to find new opportunities in the ties between our two countries", reads the post published by Zurabishvili on her Twitter account.

At the meeting with the Prince Albert II Zurabishvili initiated to invite sommeliers from Monaco to Georgia in order to raise the awareness of Georgian wine among the Monaco's wine industry insiders.
Zurabishvili also invited Prince Albert II to Georgia.
Later Zurabishvili met with French journalists and bloggers covering the wine industry.
While in Monaco Zurabishvili also met President of Peace and Sport Joel Bouzo. It was noted at the meeting that sport can be used to promote social integration and peace in Georgia.
