Coronavirus: 1,576 new cases, 584 recoveries, 29 deaths

Georgia has reported 1,576 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 44,278 tests over the last 24 hours.

Out of the 1,576 new cases 868 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Kakheti - 77
Kvemo Kartli - 71
Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 54
Shida Kartli - 51
Guria - 35
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 21
Samtskhe-Javakheti - 15

Meanwhile, 584 individuals have recovered from the coronavirus, while 29 patients have died.

As of now, the number of total confirmed cases of Covid-19 stands at 329,407, including 307,918 recoveries,4,426 deaths and 17,037 active cases.

Lithuania gifts 15,000 Covid-19 vaccines to Georgia

Georgia will receive 15,000 Covid-19 vaccines from Lithuania, announces Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis. He posted on his Twitter account that the Lithuanian government had confirmed that 200,000 vaccines would be given to Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.

Georgia reports 1,390 new cases of coronavirus of 38,468 tests

Georgia has reported 1,390 new cases of coronavirus, 1,070 recoveries and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 38,468 tests have been conducted around the country of which 27,651 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,817 were PCR tests. Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 327,831 cases of coronavirus, 307,334 recoveries and 4,397 deaths.

400 restaurants in Tbilisi to receive one-time financial assistance from City Hall

In total 400 restaurants operating in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi will receive one-time financial assistance from Tbilisi City Hall next week, announces the Tbilisi City Hall. During the week-long holidays announced in Georgia on May 4 to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the funding process was suspended.

Georgia reports 504 new cases of coronavirus of 11,665 tests

Georgia has reported 504 new cases of coronavirus, 2,038 recoveries and 27 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 11,665 tests have been conducted around the country of which 6,137 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,528 were PCR tests.
