Coronavirus: 1,564 new cases, 693 recoveries, 18 deaths

Georgia has reported 1,564 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 27,384 tests over the last 24 hours.
Out of the new cases:
- 900 were reported in Tbilisi
- 162 were reported in Imereti
- 115 were reported in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
- 105 were reported in Adjara
- 72 were reported in Kvemo Kartli
- 64 were reported in Kakheti
- 52 were reported in Shida Kartli
- 36 were reported in Guria
- 31 were reported in Mtskheta-Mtianeti
- 18 were reported in Samtskhe-Javakheti
- 9 were reported in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti
Meanwhile, 693 individuals have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia while 18 patients have died.
As of now the total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Georgia stands at 320,830, including 299,500 recoveries, 4,263 deaths and 17,041 active cases.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has approved the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine for emergency use in all countries, giving the green light for this vaccine to be rolled out globally, including in Georgia.
A 34-year old woman who contracted coronavirus during the 29-30 week of pregnancy died late yesterday in Bokeria medical centre in Tbilisi.
Georgia has reported 1,547 new cases of coronavirus, 1,131 recoveries and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. 25,541 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 14,212 of the 25,541 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,329 were PCR tests. The country has had 319,226 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 5.66 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.298,807 of the 319,226 patients have recovered, while 4,245 have died from the virus.

The country has had 322,468 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 6.03 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
