Georgia reports 788 new cases of coronavirus of 9,790 tests

Georgia has reported 788 new cases of coronavirus, 1,206 recoveries and 20 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

9,790 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 4,802 of the 9,790 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,988 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 313,742 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

5.02 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

295,458 of the 313,742 patients have recovered, while 4,183 have died from the virus.

Currently 14,075 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

The new 788 cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 384 cases 
• Adjara - 106 cases 
• Imereti - 64 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 43 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 30 cases 
• Guria - 17 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 76 cases 
• Kakheti - 40 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 13 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 14 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 1 case

4,209 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 811 of the 4,209 patients are in critical condition. 149 of the 811 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

32,694 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 4,235,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
