Georgian and Ukrainian Ministers of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani and Dmytro Kuleba have met today as part of the Romania-Poland-Turkey trilateral ministerial that is taking place in the Romanian capital of Bucharest on April 22-24.
The ministerial is focussed on issues related to regional security and the integration of Georgia and Ukraine into NATO.
At the meeting the ministers talked about the Georgian-Ukrainian strategic partnership and the friendship between the countries.
Zalkaliani posted on his Twitter account:

Zalkaliani said he supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and expressed solidarity regarding the developments along the Ukrainian border and in the country’s temporarily occupied territories.
Zalkaliani also talked about the current situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia.
Key NATO partners Ukraine and Georgia make a significant contribution to strengthening the Eastern flank of the alliance and maintaining stability in the Black Sea region. I am convinced that our unity is the most effective factor in holding Russia and its deeply destructive actions in the region", said Kuleba at the ministerial.
Meanwhile, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili posted on her Twitter account that Georgia welcomes the deescalation steps on the Ukrainian border.

Zalkaliani will also hold face-to-face meetings with the foreign ministers of Poland, Romania and Turkey during the visit.
The Georgian and Romanian FMs will sign an action plan between their ministries for 2021-2022.
