Georgia has reported five new cases of the coronavirus, increasing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 54.
However, the medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia told journalists today that the first three individuals have recovered.
As of today 2,956 individuals are under quarantine in Georgia, while 291 others are under medical observation at hospitals, based on www.stopcov.ge - a website aimed to inform the population of the spread of the COVID-19 and its prevention.
Meanwhile, yesterday Georgia declared a state of emergency to prevent the spread of the coronavirus until April 21.
