20,000 stream trout have been released in Skintava River in Imereti region

The Georgian Agency of Wildlife has released 20,000 stream trout in the Skintava River in Imereti region, western Georgia. 

Stream trout are an endangered species in Georgia.

The plan of the agency is to produce half a million stream trout a year.

As of today, about 100,000 stream trout are produced artificially, says the Georgian Agency of Wildlife.
