All three international airports of Georgia are taking preventive safety measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
Thermal cameras have been installed at Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi international airports to scan passengers arriving at the airports contactless and detect whether they have high temperature.
Meanwhile, Kutaisi airport in Georgia’s west is carrying out disinfection measures. The airport is disinfected once in every 24 hours with antibacterial solutions and chlorine, announces the United Airports of Georgia.
Special tents have been installed in all airports of Georgia to accommodate passengers coming back from high-risk zone countries, and are also being disinfected.

The government of Georgia has already taken several measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Public schools have been closed in the country until March 16 as a measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Officials say that this time will be enough to strengthen disinfection work at schools, as well as kindergartens and public transport.
