Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava stated earlier today that within the programme investors may receive a plot of land for symbolic 1 GEL ($ 0.3/€0.25).

Interested investors may apply to the National Agency of State Property, select a suitable plot of land and in exchange of investment and employment commitments they will receive this land”, Minister Turnava said.

She also noted that entrepreneurs will no longer be required to produce certain amount of products in preliminarily defined deadline.

Turnava said it is clear if a person makes investment s/he is eager to produce. Therefore, they will now be free from additional ‘bureaucratic pressure’ amid the coronavirus pandemic.
