Georgia has exported 5,045 tonnes of apples worth $2.2 million between August 1 and November 23, announces the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.
The volume of apple exports is 12 times higher than it was in the same period of 2019, while the value of exports increased by $1.9 million, said the ministry.
Georgian apples were mainly exported to Russia (4,884 tonnes).
Georgian apples were also exported to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
