Georgia reports 4,048 new COVID-19 cases, 3,856 recoveries, 49 deaths

Georgia has reported 4,048 news cases of coronavirus, 3,856 recoveries and 49 deaths over the last 24 hours. 

Out of the new 4,048 new COVID-19 cases:

  • 1,602 were reported in Tbilisi
  • 772 were reported in Imereti
  • 447 were reported in Adjara
  • 389 were reported in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
  • 241 were reported in Shida Kartli
  • 223 were reported in Kvemo Kartli
  • 164 were reported in Kakheti
  • 114 were reported in Guria
  • 48 were reported in Mtskheta-Mtianeti
  • 44 were reported in Samtskhe-Javakheti
  • 4 were reported in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti

Meanwhile, the curfew in seven big cities of Georgia that was lifted for the second-round of elections on November 20-21, has again entered into force.

Therefore, movement between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. is restricted again from today. Violation of curfew is punishable by a 2,000 GEL fine. 

Out of the 49 new death cases 

  • 24 were reported in Tbilisi
  • 13 were reported in Adjara
  • 7 were reported in Imereti
  • 3 were reported in Kvemo Kartli
  • 1 was reported in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
  • 1 was reported in Shida Kartli
