Georgian Agriculture Minister Davitashvili tests positive for coronavirus

Georgian Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili has tested positive for coronavirus.

The press office of the ministry announces that Davitashvili feels well and will continue treatment at home.

All contacts of the minister have been identified and they have gone into self-isolation", announces the press office. 

Georgia has reported 3,120 new cases of coronavirus, 2,358 recoveries and 33 deaths in the past 24 hours.

As of today 16,158 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.

Georgia has had 69,681 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
