A total of 958 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia over the last 24 hours.
Marina Endeladze, head of the isolation department of Tbilisi Hospital of Infections Diseases said out of the 958 new cases:
Meanwhile, Endeladze told reporters today that 214 people have recovered and four have died.
As of now, Georgia has confirmed 16,285 cases of COVID-19 since February 26, including 7,827 recoveries and 128 deaths.

With the parliamentary elections approaching, the Central Election Commisison (CEC) has adopted a resolution laying out the sanitary guidelines to be observed on the election day.
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has also stated that there are no grounds to postpone the October 31 parliamentary elections despite a sharp increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
