600,868 children registered for 200 GEL assistance programme

As of today, 600,868 children have been registered for the state social assistance programme in which children up to 17 years old will receive 200 GEL from the state.
These children are from 366,000 families in total.
The most important for us is the health of our citizens, to keep jobs and socially assist our citizens, especially children,” said Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia earlier today.
Gakharia said that the application process will continue until the first of December and provision of assistance will start in September.
He emphasised that citizens will be helped to fill the applications by any state institution, social service agency, Liberty Bank, or any municipal state institution as quickly as possible without any cost.
